2677 traditionally hosts a Christmas Dinner to celebrate the holiday season. Each cadet is required to pay a $25 deposit, which is refunded once the cadet arrives to the dinner. We also ask that each cadet bring in a non-perishable food item for the local food bank, to the dinner.
This year, each cadet is welcomed to bring (a maximum of) two guests, at a cost of $25.00 per guest. Guests can RSVP online. Please see invitation below for additional details.
TRAINING & OPERATIONS
Marksmanship Training (all cadets).
There will be no Drill or Marksmanship team practices this Saturday. Pipes & Drum practice Sunday.
Santa Clause Parade
The unit will be participating in the City of Pembroke’s Annual Santa Clause Parade. Cadets will be (easy) marching in the parade handing out candy. MAX participation is requested so that we can represent our unit well in the general public. See calendar for timings.
Green Star Training Day
All new cadets must attend this course to receive important knowledge that will be fundamental to their cadet careers. Due to Armoury availability, we are confirming a new date.
Standard First-Aid Course
One of the many benefits of army cadets is free first-aid training, that has proven to help save lives! We are running a Standard First-Aid course at the Pembroke Armoury, 16-17 December 2017 (Saturday and Sunday). Cadets can sign-up with the Training Officer to secure a position on this course.
Deadline for registration is Tuesday, December 5th. Note that both days are mandatory to pass the course.
